My most successful project this year was the paper lanterns. It was really easy for me and I feel like I did a good job on it, especially afterwards when we had to shine a bright light on it and take pictures of it. I feel like all of the pictures I took came out really well.
The surreal image project really helped develop and helped me learn new skills on photoshop because I had to distort pictures, erase, and do other things to make the picture come out the way I wanted it to.
The surreal image project I used a lot of skills that I learned through the year to create it. It shows how I developed and grew as an artist because looking back, it was a lot easier this time around to create the image I envisioned because at this point, I had really gotten the skills I needed to use down and it made creating the project easier to accomplish and to finish in a short amount of time.
A project that really reflects me as an artist was the selfie project. It reflects me as an artist because everything in it was picture I had taken, as well as a picture of myself. This project really portrayed my style of photography, in my opinion.
As far as feedback, I don’t really have any other than that the class was awesome and I was extremely happy that I ended up taking it. The only thing I wish we could of had more time on was the light painting and the projects that we got to pick. They were both really fun projects and I liked the freedom that we had with them to be creative and show our skills that we learned without a lot of instructions or a structure to follow, (which I don’t usually like, but I did in this case). Thank you for the wonderful year Mrs.Haggerty!
