Over the course of two weeks, we were given the opportunity to experiment with different types of photography project. The ones I had chosen to do are portrayed above. The first three pictures shown are of sliced oranges which are from the Photography Project 06: Fine-Art Food, which is where you evenly and thinly slice fruits or vegetables and place them on a lightbox so you can see the transparency through them. The second project I did was the Photography Project 08: Abstracts in Oil. For this project, we placed water and oil in the same glass jar and placed it over a colored background. Then for the two purple photographs shown above, we put dye into the mixture to see what would happen. The last project I did was Photography Project 02: Indoor Splash Shots where we dropped objects in water and video taped it using the slow motion camera, then took screenshots from the videos to get the picture shown above. The last picture in the slide show was dye placed in water after we created a whirlpool in the water. It wasn't a specific project, we did it just to see what would happen.
